Today, two men were found guilty of the murder of Stephen Lawrence. The murder happened 18 years ago when Stephen himself was 18 years old. He was a young black man, stabbed to death after a racist attack by 5 white boys. The whole thing was senseless and tragic for all the families involved in this prolonged and determined fight for justice on one side and the fight to keep their families together on the other.
Week 1 is for Stephen and his family
I am still writing songs pretty much everyday or at least fragments of songs... but this year I will only post one or two of them on Tuesdays. They're rough versions made at home, just like last year. But I can hopefully be a bit more organised in 2012 and maybe increase skills in all sorts of things as I go along.
